Finally some pictures!

After a long wait, we thought we'd show everyone some pictures of our beautiful new home in Naples (Napoli), Italy! Last Friday night, Karl and I went out with our friends, Judy and Greg, to downtown Naples and some scenic places, also. We had an awesome time and felt like authentic Italians, from eating at a pizzeria to shopping in the side alleys. We can't even explain how beautiful this place is and how you feel as you walk down the street- it's truely something you'll have to experience to understand (and you're all welcome to come do just that)!
Karl and I with Mt. Vesuvius behind us Karl, Me, Judy, and Greg with the Bay of Naples behind us Another great shot of Vesuvius Downtown Naples from the Autostrade (the scariest road I've ever driven on- Italians are CRAZY drivers and they say the only time the road signs matter is if there is an accident, so no one stops for anyone else and there is basically no speed limit) More of downtown Naples Me and Vesivius Naples is absolutely beautiful in the eveing from the hills We sure do love posing with that volcano... The rich side of town where the government officials live One of the many island towns in Naples Inside the Galleria- the first shopping mall EVER in Europe (imagine my excitement)! Judy and I in the square outside the Royal Palace (that's a church behind us but I forgot the name) The square we ate at Friday night- while at the pizzeria (by the way, the pizza here is out of this world) a violinist came and played at our table- simply amazing! Me in a very famous spot- the San Carlo Theatre (the first opera house in Europe) is on the left and the entrance to the Galleria is on the right

This is the first part of Naples- this castle used to be considered the entire city- everything was within the walls for protection. It's now a famous museum and from what we hear, there is a great pizzeria there, too!
