Sorry it's been so long since anything's been posted, but life has been crazy recently! We still don't have internet (and could be a few more weeks before we do), so I have to wait until I go to one of the bases to get online and it makes it hard to get pictures up (but I promise some as soon as possible)! Karl and I are happy to report that we are officially in our new home and we love it; waking up each morning to the sunrise over the Bay of Pozzuoli seems like a dream come true. There are still a few boxes to unpack in the study and some pictures to hang on the walls, but we are basically unpacked. Karl left this past Sunday for Bulgaria and will be gone a couple weeks, but I am staying very busy with cleaning and shopping for the house (IKEA isn't too far from our house). We haven't gotten to travel much recently and it looks like our next major trip won't be until Thanksgiving when we're going to Tuscany and Germany for Christmas, but I'm sure we'll get some day trips in when Karl gets home. I am happy to say that I have been driving a lot more and still haven't hit anyone (yay!) and I think stick shift is starting to become second nature (though I did get lost today and thought I was on the verge of a meltdown). I promise by the time people start to visit I won't freak out on the road anymore! We're just about ready for visitors and should have the house ready by November, so let us know when you're ready to plan your trip! We miss and love all of you and hope to talk/see you soon!

yay! so good to hear from you. can't believe you have such a great view every morning... i'm definitely jealous- let us know what you think of germany- we're hoping that's our first overseas duty station....

I have not heard from you in forever!!!! :( It looks like you are both doing well over there and all i can think about is that I want next fall to hurry up so I can come visit..with maybe some extra surprises ;) I miss you!!!!
Hello guys! I'm so glad that you are having fun and getting settled into your beautiful home! Things are the same around here...except Barbie and Jason have moved. :( We miss them, and you two of course. Steph is in preschool and loves it. I am just huge and ALL baby! You would not believe how big my tummy is. The doctor thinks she will be a bigger baby, and she's still on go for Dec 4th. (of course having her earlier is fine by me) At least five people a day ask me if I'm due now, or if I'm having twins. When I say no to both, they just look at me with a shocked look or they say, "Well, you won't make it until then!" Yeah...thanks people! Couldn't they just say something nice like, "Wow, you are glowing!". (I know you would say nice stuff like that, Laura :) I did get your message, but we were in preschool when you called. Tuesday, Wed, and Thurs. mornings I am there until 2pm. Anyway, I do hope to hear from you soon. And I REALLY hope you get internet soon, so I can send you a bunch of pictures. Take care you two!
